This past weekend, my family and Jose?s, got together to throw an owl themed baby shower for our baby girl. It was all put together by my cousin, and she did an amazing job!! I loved all the little details that she put into making the event special. If you know me, you would know that I strive on details!! They make me giddy with happiness
I wasn?t able to grab that many photos; a girl has to socialize! But here are a few that I was able to capture.
There was a table set up for everyone to write down some words of advice for me, as well as their wishes for our baby. It was fun to go through them all when I got home, and?definitely?a great keepsake to have to remember the day.
See what I mean about the little details?! The stir sticks with the little owls on them were so cute! The thank you favours even were tied into the owl theme as well. And how cute is that baby owl IN A DIAPER on the cake?! So cute!!
We are so lucky to have the family that we do. Jose and I appreciate each and every gift, but more so that everyone took the time to come out and celebrate our soon-to-be daughter. I am off now to wash the crazy amount of clothes and blankets that we?received. With baby coming next month (OMG! When did that happen?!) I need to get her room in order!
